HFMS Membership

Founded in 2002, the HFMS is dedicated to the enjoyment all aspects of woodworking. To that end we host monthly meetings with keynote speakers who visit to discuss their work and techniques. These meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month between September and June, and are open to the public.

HFMS members are invited to participate in Hands-on workshop sessions. These are usually hosted in members homes, and provide an opportunity to meet, to share skills, and to learn new techniques. Hands-on sessions are held on the second Tuesday of each month.

In addition to the meetings and hands-on sessions, our approximately 30 members enjoy a host of other benefits from merchant discounts to borrowing privileges from the club's library. Our core membership is drawn from Oakville and Burlington, but includes members from Mississauga, Toronto, and from as far away as Kitchener, Grimsby and Welland. If you have questions or would like further information or directions to a meeting, please contact us.
